It's situated about 220 yards (200 m) from the Los Iros Beach and has a fantastic view of the ocean as far as the eye can see. On a clear day you can see the coast of Venezuela. Los Iros is a place where nature and fishing industry exist side by side. Geographically, Los Iros Bay is located on the South Coast of Trinidad nestled between Erin Point and Taparo Point. Los Iros Beach is a typical local beach resort that is mainly patronized by the local population. In the nearby fishing village Erin you can find the main fishing depot, where the fishermen come on shore to sell their daily catch. Erin also has a modern Health Facility, and a 24/7 manned police station. Los Iros Beach can be described as an open beach, backed by a cliffed coast. Public transportation is available by bus, and for only six TT dollars one can go straight from San Fernando to Erin along the S.S. Erin Road. The bus passes through Debe, Penal, Siparia, Santa Flora, Palo Seco, Rancho Quemado, Los Iros, and it's final destination Erin, from where it returns to San Fernando. However, if you travel by bus, a separate arrangement with a local taxi has to be made to get from the Los Iros Junction (where the bus stops) to the property, which is approximately 1.4 miles (2.26 km).
